Noelia Corzo is the newest addition to WANDA’s Governance Council. A graduate of cohort 8, Noelia is a working single mother, social worker, twice-elected San Mateo-Foster City School District Board Trustee, educator, equity advocate, and daughter of immigrants. In 2018, she was one of the 48 women featured on the cover of the January 29th issue of TIME magazine, for an article titled “The Avengers.” She was one of three San Mateo County women to be awarded the first annual Women of Courage Award from the Philanthropic Ventures Foundation. Noelia is a candidate for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. We are so excited to welcome Noelia to our council.
